The Titanic Exhibition Liverpool

For the first time EVER, over 250 Titanic and White Star artefacts, some never before seen, permanently in residence, curated expertly to form an experience like no other, in the Grade II listed building that Titanic called home and where the dynasty was born. Marvel at world class headline items that were once aboard the fated ship, including a Titanic passenger list that encompasses a who’s who of 1912 society, letters and postcards written onboard by passengers optimistic of a new beginning.

Navigate your way around the mesmerising items, as you immerse yourself in the stories and legacies of the ships, passengers and crews of some of the most famous vessels the world has ever known, before being captivated by the wonderous story of the search, locating and exploration of the Titanic wreck. Follow the journey of exploration that led to the initial discovery of the Titanic wreck and site, including unique video of the wreck and wreck site, artefact recovery, and a detailed scale model of the Titanic seabed and wreck area, whilst viewing stunning genuine artefacts retrieved from the wreck itself such as original pieces of Titanic deck wood, coal, parts of the hull connected to the colossal “Big Piece”, Dik Barton’s dive suit and much more.

Indulge yourself in movie nostalgia as we pay tribute to the great ships legacy on the big screen with the original screen used violin played by Jonathan Evans-Jones when he played the part of Titanic bandmaster Wallace Hartley in James Cameron’s blockbuster movie.

Our exhibition promises to be a mecca for all Titanic, White Star and maritime enthusiasts, offering the opportunity to also tour the Grade II listed Albion House from top to bottom with our resident historian and tour guide, as the building that oversaw the legacy gives up her most trusted secrets. Stay overnight in one of our White Star themed bedrooms, taking in breakfast lunch, dinner and Afternoon Tea on either our 7th floor Quarter Deck Restaurant and Bar or our stunning Grand Hall; and of course before you abandon ship, do not forget to visit our gift shop for some of the most incredible White Star and Titanic themed paraphernalia!
